MISSION
Medical Flight for Tesla

Fly injured German Shepherd pup Tesla from Memphis, TN to Knoxville, TN where he will be receiving in house care following his surgery from injuries he received after being run over by an automobile. His injuries include multiple fractures to his left front leg and right front shoulder. He was taken to the Memphis Animal Shelter and they wanted to put him down, but the Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue stepped up and took him into their rescue. Flying Tesla to Knoxville was his only hope of survival. Tesla was hurting but his spirit was very high!! He will recover and make someone a great companion!!

Thanks goes to the IDGSDR director Debbie Lewellen, Memphis volunteer Lorie Beville and Knoxville SPECIAL Foster Mom Ashley.

Going the extra mile to save this beautiful GSD is an act of sheer selfless unparalleled kindness. I have rescued a few animals from imminent death and this story touches my heart. My husband is a pilot and showed me this site. I’m hoping he will volunteer.
