Capt. Andrew, Co-Pilot Theodore, and Anne left Louisburg, North Carolina (KLHZ) early Friday morning for Columbia, South Carolina to pick up Violet from foster mom Meaghan.  Violet is a black lab pup that is headed to Midland, Virginia to a safe shelter where she hopefully will find her forever home.

Theodore loved Violet!  The two of them played the entire time we were at the airport and during the flight back home, Theodore played with her in the backseat.

Violet was very skittish and seemed to be very afraid of the slightest noise.  We overnighted her with the intention of heading out Sunday morning to fly her to Virginia to a safe shelter.  The more we played with her, cuddled her, etc. she became more and more comfortable and started bonding with all of us.

Lots of bumps and clouds coming home

I don’t think Violet likes the bumps. She has a very concerned look on her face.

WOW!! Getting really dark up here!!

Co-pilot Theodore is one happy boy! He sees the runway straight ahead!

Violet still has a worried look but at least we are on the ground.
