Wayne McClellan from Santa Barbara, Ca flying a Diamond DL 40 teamed up with Pilot/Doctor Bob Tefft from San Luis Obispo, Ca flying his Socata Trinidad.

An urgent request was posted for a flight from Oceanside to Sacramento for a small 3 day old pup who needed transport to Fred’s Friends where she would receive care from a rescue that specializes in cleft palate puppies.  There was one problem, the puppy needed to be tube fed every 2 or 3 hours.  Fortunately, Doctor Bob was a neonatal specialist and offered to tube feed the puppy upon arrival at San Luis Obispo and after landing at Sacramento.  We appreciate the efforts of both pilots for their quick response and their willingness to fly as low as legally possible.
