Spring Weather Soars PNP Missions

Finally, the weather cooperated this weekend and Dick and Kara Cole flew two Pilots N Paws missions.  The first transport was postponed several times due to weather.  This first mission was to pickup an American Eskimo “Carson” in St. Louis and transport him to Kansas City for his final flight to Lincoln, NE, his furever home.  He was a stray found running with a rope around his neck and turned over to American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis, they had him neutered and a tumor removed. He was a very happy boy.

The second transport was to Hot Springs, AR to bring Goldie, a basset-beagle mix with a very interesting two-tone eye and her puppy to a rescue in St. Louis. Goldie did not like men and it was thought she was very abused by a man.  I’m glad my wife flies with me, Goldie took to her fairly easily.  All in all, it was 980 statute miles covered in two days with one dog going to a furever home and two dogs going to rescue.

Regards,

Dick Cole
