More kitty transports!
We connected at Fresno/Chandler with another pilot, also named Kim, who was picking up 2 dogs who were also headed north. As she said, we could not have picked a hotter day to do it, the temperature in Fresno was about 102. With that in mind, she loaded up all 3 cats and both dogs in her V-Tailed Bonanza and took off. Later in the evening we got word she had safely delivered all to their destinations.
As with all of the connecting flights, this took a solid team effort, starting with Michelle who organized it all, to Toni and the other rescuers who deliver them to us at the airports. My thanks as always to Pilots n Paws for being the catalyst that brings these flights together, and to all involved who did their part.
