California Husky Rescue Network Inc (also known as CHRN) pulled husky Phoenix from a high kill shelter in CA and set up Pilots N Paws as well as ground helpers to get him to Boise, ID. Phoenix went to Moonsong Malamute Rescue Inc.

Federico, a pilot from Italy, flew the first leg.  He comes here to vacation – rents a plane and helps!  He flew from Torrance, CA (KTOA) to Las Vegas, NV (KHND-Henderson).

Dan W. covered the 2nd leg from Henderson to Fillmore, UT (KFOM).  The last leg was scheduled to be flown by Alan T. out of his home base at Brigham City, UT (BMC).  However, mother nature had other plans, and that flight had to be canceled.  Ground volunteers pulled togehter to get Phoenix from Utah to Boise.

Subaru and Petmate are proud sponsors of Pilots N Paws.
