Transport for Caucasian Ovcharka Denali

Transport for Caucasian Ovcharka Denali. He was a big dog and is only about a year old. This breed is a very sought after breed and how Denali ended up in a shelter is unimaginable. Luck was on Denali’s side when a rescue in Ardmore, OK learned of his situation in South Carolina and agreed to take him in.

How he got to OK is also very interesting. Denali had no offers from any PNP pilots from South Carolina to fly him anywhere West like Knoxville, TN. Denali was driven to Knoxville, TN but still no PNP pilot offers to get him to West TN where I had offered to fly him to Ardmore, OK. So Denali caught a ride on an 18 wheeler truck thanks to a very generous truck driver. Linda Jones had agreed to foster Denali until the weather improved, but she had to pick him up at 3AM. The weather improved, and I flew Denali to Ardmore. Linda went along to see how PNP works from the pilot’s point of view.

Denali touched everyone’s heart who had a chance to meet him. Including me.

Thanks to everyone who helped get Denali to his OK rescue!! It truly was an amazing feat!!

Thank God for loving people that will help our animals of which God gave to us as companions and friends! If not for these animals lots of us would live lonely lives. I wish l were able to help in ways that would help feed and house them, but my wife and l are on a fixed income and trying to watch it so as we will be able to take care of each other as we get older. At seventy five and having our fifty fourth Anniversary the first day of this month we are closing in on the day we will go to be with our Lord and do look forward to this other than leaving our six grandchildren! Maybe we can find some way to help every now and then. Keep on keeping on with this wonderfully job you do and feel sure God is watching you and shall reward you someday!
