Terrye owned kennels near Mobile, AL, but she lost her lease.  The owners sold it to a grocery store chain.  She is a great lady that found many pups all over and could never find the owners.  She would hold the pups until rescues were found and flights were set up. She had a bunch of person dogs, as you say, left at the kennels and nobody to take them. So a few folks chipped in to place them with rescues they work with.  Winter was one of the many animals transported to a new life.

The plan:
1. Bridgett L. (awesome helper) brought Winter to David at Fairhope, AL (KCQF)
2. David A. flew from KCQF to Tuscaloosa, AL (KTCL)
3. Jim R. covered the next leg from KTCL to Sparta, TN (KSRB)
4. Michael D. piloted the pup from KSRB to Lexington, KY (KLEX)
5. Ann, near KLEX, offered to hold Winter overnight but wasn’t needed
6. Jurian M. flew the anchor leg into Zanesville, Ohio (KZZV) and Howl at the Moon Husky Rescue

Jurian M. is a 19 year old pilot that recently started flying with PnP. He is going back to Asia and then going on to OshKosh but will be back in Ohio in September to fly more pups! He texted a coordinator one night at 1 am asking if she had any pups needing to be moved the next day since he had a plane booked.  He’s addicted!!
