We picked up Watson in Sanford, NC from foster mom Jennifer Watson.   Then we met Hilda Hughes from Granville County and picked up Sweetie.  Both pups overnighted with us and played with our dogs Scarlett and Abigail. 

This was Barb’s first Pilots N Paws rescue and she was excited to get this show on the road.   We left early Saturday morning and flew to Easton, Maryland and had lunch at the famous Sugar Buns Bakery and Cafe.   Pilot Glenn Nevola met us, had lunch, etc. and he flew the pups back to New Jersey to Suzanne @Triboro Animal Welfare.  Watson and Sweetie loved to fly.  They looked out of the window a lot and they took naps.   

They bonded really fast…..even though they came from separate rescues, they were inseparable during their stay with us.  They wore themselves out playing in the yard.   Andrew put them to bed and they never made a sound until the next morning.  Barb loved participating in the rescue flight, and soon we are going to try and plan two days of flying rescues.
