Leo’s Story
Leo sat in the shelter for 11 days without being seen by a vet, with what the shelter called an abscess in his mouth from a stick. It was not an abscess at all. Leo had electrical burns deep into his mouth and along his gums. The abscess in Leo’s mouth was an infection and scar tissue. He required two separate surgeries to clean it all out.
There was also an area around Leo’s muzzle & lips that looks as if it had been tied shut at one point. Only if Leo could talk!! This poor boy has been through so much!
Big Thank You to Kaleidoscope K9 Rescue for saving him, and to all the helpers, fosters & the pilots to make this possible!
IT TRULY TAKES A VILLAGE!!
