PNP Mission #5

Pete: 9/30/2018 4.9hrs ORF -> MWK -> RIC -> ORF

Pete was found walking down the road next to the highway. He had obviously had a pre-existing injury to his back and front right legs.

The shelter took him in and reset the parts of his leg that we’re not healed correctly, and give him the surgery that he needed in order to get up and running again.

He was fostered for about two weeks by Jessica and because of all the flooding after the hurricane in North Carolina, the shelters in North Carolina have been over ran with stray animals.

To alleviate the overrun shelters in NC Pete was relocated to Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond. This is a non-profit ran by Christine Wilson that specializes in finding homes for Labrador Retrievers.
