Kayda & Alysa belonged to my son who passed away unexpectedly in September. My husband and I could not keep these dogs as we have two Labs and we’re not spring chickens ourselves. I made arrangements with the Northern California Weimaraner Rescue to transport these beautiful girls to a new home in No. Calif. They are being fostered now. Seeing these photos has made me cry again. But I know they will be well taken care of. I am thrilled there’s an outfit like this that cares for critters. Thanks, Pilots N Paws.

i was rescued by a dog in san diego ca. i gave up on life and started to wither away at the vine. till i met Raider. the dog who rescued a human. he was in a rescue run by a terrific person at critter crossings. it was true friendship at first sight. i sat on a tree stump to smoke a cigarette when Raider lumbered up to me ,sat on my foot and didn’t want to nove. i was told that raider had some behavior problems and wasn’t the dog for me. how wrong they were. after telling the rescue that ialso had some behavior issues and her seeing how Raider acted toward me she finally relented and said “lets give it a try. well 6 years later Raider has become one very very important part of our lives. and we both found help with our “behavior problems” the two of us are unseperable and i have found a new meaning of what life really is. thank you all for rescuing us from depression and despair. God bless you all at pilots and paws.
