Jeff Bennett was off the ground again. This time, he had the rare surprise of finding better weather than forecast. Definitely a treat as he moved 27 pups from Alabama and Georgia to south Florida.

The day started with a quick trip (90 minutes) to Tampa to pick up Claudia, a reporter for a German magazine who was writing an article about Pilots N Paws. The plan was to fly up to Enterprise, AL, but they discovered that the airport was closed due to re-surfacing of the runways. The ground transport drove the pups to Marianna, FL for their pick up.

After loading the pups, the travelers departed for the return trip back to Tampa and three waiting rescues. One of the pups (the Black and Tan Coonhound) was ground transported to AL from Atlanta to catch the transport. His final destination was the Florida Keys and his forever home.

Jeff, thanks for taking me to my new home. I'm gonna love The Keys.
