Update on BeeBee

A couple months ago, I found a blog post on your website that made me smile.

About a year ago, I started volunteering with Tennessee Death Row Dogs and was asked to foster BeeBee. We spent a couple months taking her to adoption events and watching her be passed over by family after family. But it didn’t take long for us to realize that she had already adopted us…and we loved her too much to let her go! So as of January 2014, BeeBee officially became our precious and very spoiled little diva dog.

I knew she had come from North Carolina, but didn’t know much about her story. So seeing your blog post from last year made me smile! I had no idea she had been flown so far, at the very last moment, by such a wonderful organization. Thank you so much for all that you do! And for helping to spare BeeBee’s life so she could come and become such a precious part of our family.

Hi Amanda, thank you so very much for sharing this incredible update on BeeBee. I think about her often and remembered just how incredibly sweet she was and what a race against time it was to get her out of the kill shelter and to TN. Every step of her trip from the Onslow County Animal Control facility in Jacksonville NC to the TN rescue group, she charmed us all and melted our hearts. I can’t wait to update everyone that was involved in her rescue… She is so beautiful and she looks happy and healthy. Christophe the pilot and his wife were our Angels to fly her across the state one week and to TN the next.

Thank you for taking the time to update us on beautiful, sweet BeeBee. It warms my heart to see her smile. She is a sweet, and very special little girl. Thank you for giving her the loving home that she so deserves.

    Thank you Pilots N Paws!

OMG! Loved her – I was her transport from the shelter to the airport – weather was not perfect so her flight was a little delayed. It was her and I waiting at the very small regional airport and she was wonderful company – just walked around, came and rested her chin on my knee, walked around some more, looked at the door to take a walk, etc. She was so sweet and I am so thankful she has found a wonderful forever home. Those of us that pull and transport rarely hear about the dog/cat’s forever home once found. So glad to hear about BeeBee!

Thank you for sharing this update,

As a PNP pilot, I always wonder about the next steps if this isn’t an adoption flight. So thank you for fostering and adopting DeeDee, it is a great success story.
