Bo was a beautiful, four-year-old AKC-registered collie in Waco TX. Fanny, his owner, had surrendered him to Freedom Collie Rescue, Inc.. She had severe rheumatoid arthritis and was moving in with her daughter, who already had dogs. There was no room for Bo. On 11/2/2014, fellow Pearland Regional Airport pilot Scott Bennett and Wade Roberts flew 20223 to McGregor Executive Airport in Waco for the pick up. Fanny and Web, a friend, were waiting.

Both started bawling as Scott and Wade loaded Bo, and bags with food, grooming products, and a folder with all of Bo’s records, the surrender paper, and an envelope labeled “Bo’s Story.” It was heartbreaking. They flew Bo to Liberty TX, northeast of Houston, to deliver Bo to Angela Walker, a FCR foster. FCR’s Pat Booher says that Bo already has an adoption application, and that FCR will keep Jenny updated with reports and pictures.
