SALUTE to pilot Russ Marlowe and his wife, Debbie who flew Mary on 5/23/15 from Bainbridge, Ga to Brooksville, Fl. THANKS Pat Bayerswith Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida-District 8 Pasco,Pinellas,Hernando… and HUGS to Beth Yockey Eck and helper,Andy Woods for getting Mary to the airport on time. We appreciate the pilots that fly for us, and all the rescuers that save these animals and give them the chance to live.

    I volunteer for a city municipal animal shelter. We are looking for ways to get our many animals out to forever homes. We are constantly overwhelmed with the amount of dogs and cats that come in and are never claimed. Please answer a few questions for me about how this flight program works and how we can get involved.

    – Do I find the adopters in the far away places or is there a network of those looking for specific dogs/cats?
    – If I find the adopters, do I contact you to arrange for the transportation or is there a set flight path schedule?

      Della, thank you for volunteering at your local shelter. The shelter would be responsible for finding the adopters as Pilots N Paws only a requestelps provide transportation. Once an adopter is located, a request can be posted to the ride board – please read this page to get some valuable information on the process.
