Protocom Aviation (our POC: Jacob Patrick) hosted an open house at Hampton Roads Executive Airport (KPVG).  The Pilots N Paws cadre of pilots were welcomed with a table right next to Protocom just inside the entrance to the airports FBO/terminal building.  

A little windy, but a wonderfully sunny day with the Chesapeake Humane Society hosting a pet adoption just outside the building and welcoming all.  

When it comes to variety, Protocom’s fleet of aircraft would be tough to rival and made a wonderful backdrop to share the story of Pilots N Paws to everyone that came out for the event.  Along with the wonderful people who purchased Pilots N Paws merchandise or simply gave donations, we had pilots (past and present) sharing their stories, planning future events, and sharing their passions in giving our furry friends a voice and a chance.  

The Hampton Roads area is alive and well supporting Pilots N Paws, and we’d like to thank everyone who came out to the airport Sunday.  And a very special thank you to all the folks involved in the roles that actively post the rescues and the wonderful people on each end of the transports of our Paw’d passengers.
