This story was sent in by Monica:  This boy broke our hearts, so we had to help him. He is only a 2 year old husky in CA, Wolfie. In his first home, the owners had a pitty who attacked him. Everyone was surprised he lived. They didn’t take him to the vet, but instead just put a bandage around his neck and left him. He was outside and collapsed on the neighbor’s yard. The neighbor took him to the vet. The vet contacted the owner telling them the dog was there, and the owners told the vet they didn’t want him anymore.  So, the neighbor raised most of the funds to pay for his surgery.

Then he ended up in another home, with a pitty again! Their pitty started picking on him too, so this family kept him in a separate room. The dad owner now started telling a friend of mine from England (Sonia M.), yes ENGLAND, that he wouldn’t help get him a health certificate to travel so we could fly him out of CA.  Then the dad owner starting saying he was going to dump him in the desert! This poor dog.

So we contacted a nearby friend, Dayna B. who was near him & picked up Wolfie and got him to the vet for his health cert and to get shots up to date & held him overnight before the flights. Then his journey began!!

Big Thank you to Sonia M. in England who never gave up on him & all the CA huskies on death row!
