MISSION – Fly Hound Sherwood and Kitty Snowflake from Union City, TN to New Century Airport, KS which is close to Olathe, KS.  Their final destination was Lincoln, NE. The receiving rescue was Dolly’s Legacy. Without their help far away from Memphis, TN the outcome for Sherwood and Snowflake would have been a lot different!!!

Both were pulled at the last minute from the dreaded Memphis Animal Shelter.

Snowflake was being fostered in Cordova by Linda “puppy wrangler” James. Linda had pulled Snowflake the night before which made it very easy to get the rescue moving in the AM. However, my flight to Union City, TN to pick up Sherwood came to a halt due to FOG at the Union City airport where Sheerwood was being fostered. It did finally lift and we departed for the New Century airport, KS where I handed off the two to Doug. Doug flew them on to Nebraska City.
