This poor 5-year old, heartworm positive husky with a broken pelvis & leg was euth-listed in a Greenville, SC shelter. She had to make her escape by 4:30pm.  Big thanks to the shelter, volunteers & Facebook for sharing her story and getting her out.

Natalie with Gaisha, Tundra and Spirit’s Place aka GTS Husky Rescue in Jupiter, Florida saw her & had to help her! Even being so soon after saving another big medical mess, Lucky, who may need prosthetic legs.

Luckily, 2 wonderful pilots, James K. & Scott S. offered to fly her!! Sue, who works at the shelter, offered to meet the pilot with Alma from the shelter on Sunday (her day off!)  James flew Alma from Greenville, SC to Jacksonville, FL, where Scott picked her up and flew a leg to Melbourne, FL.  Another Scott drove the last leg to the vet’s office in Jupiter. The vet knew the pup was coming & met him there!
