We partnered with the Montgomery County Animal Shelters who I have flown for before on behalf of Pilots N Paws. We set up tables for the shelter and Pilots N Paws, raising money, collecting donations and raising awareness. We had shelter volunteers, rescue coordinators and pilots present.

Midday I received an urgent request for a rescue flight from London-Corbin Airport to Louisville, KY. Story/ FB link attached. 2 pilots that were present immediately volunteered, jumped to action, left the fly-in and flew and picked up the injured and pregnant dog. Sadly, I received word this morning that the dog died from her injuries.

The event itself was a success and we were invited to Louisville, KY at Bowman Field Oct 6-7 for another 2-day Fly-in event.

Thank you for supporting us with merchandise, coloring books, children’s books, a banner,  tablecloth and more.
