Buddy a , 65 lb, 6 year old male Australian Shepherd was in a Imperial, CA Humane Society for 5 months. Buddy was a volunteer favorite and brought to my attention by an animal advocate Elyn Stills  … the dogs unfortunately come into the shelter much quicker than they leave. Jodi Baur (co founder)  of Wags and Whiskers Rescue in Modesto, CA agreed to take Buddy into her rescue and find him a home if we could get him transported the 500 plus miles.

Thanks to pilots Vikki Mena and Dan Thompson. Buddy flew a 2 leg Southern Cal to Northern Cal flight. Also a special thanks to the Vikki’s co-pilot Santiago Sarabia.

I am happy to report a week later … Buddy was adopted into his Forever home! Thank you Pilots N Paws for providing this flight to freedom and new life!
