Chad Lowe’s Flight With PNP

Chad was originally found living under a barn with his siblings (which have all been adopted) in North Carolina. When he was found, he had two broken legs that had already healed on their own and he was heart worm positive.

After being treated for the heart worms, we took Chad to meet the director of orthopedic surgery at The Animal Medical Center. Dr. Rob Hart felt that Mother Nature had done an amazing job with Chad’s injuries. He was confident that Chad was comfortable and not in any pain at all. He also did not think surgery was going to improve Chad’s walk or quality of life. So after being given the go ahead to fly by the doctors, we at See Spot Rescued posted Chad Lowe’s story on the Pilots N Paws forum.

In very little time, we were able to find 2 volunteer pilots willing to split the long journey from NC to NJ, and he was brought to us quickly and safely. Now sweet Chad is being fostered in a loving home in Jersey City while See Spot Rescued works to find him the best forever family they can find!

Chad is a small 30 lbs full grown and just about 2 years old. We think he’s a chihuahua hound mix – I mean where did those ears come from? He is great with dogs, cats and kids. He is shy and timid initially but warms up to be friendly and loving. Neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. When adopted, he will come with xrays and full write up from Dr Hart.
