Eskie Exits Ohio

A puppy needed to get out of a bad situation. She was an 8-month old American Eskimo that was left outside a lot and VERY flea infested. It appeared that none of the family members wanted her because…well, she’s a puppy! A very energetic puppy!

A rescue was contacted, but a foster was needed. Within a day or so, all was arranged. Chicagoland Eskie Rescue would take this baby into their care but couldn’t get her to Chicago for several weeks. A foster was found in the Northeast Ohio area, but ground transport would be difficult. Alas, a plea was put on the PnP board to fly this girl from southeast of Cincinnati to west of Akron. The only feasible day would be Sunday as the weather in Ohio had been less than ideal for flying.

Brad Borman, wife Shelley, Eskie Maxie.

Within hours, a wonderful pilot by the name of Brad Borman came to the rescue. The eskie pup quickly got out of the neglectful home, was given a Capstar, and taken to the airport to meet the pilot. It ended up being a nice day with only a little wind to worry about. Maxie, as the Eskie was called, would soon get a good bath and a big yard to play in as well as a warm, loving home.
