Pilot Bob Wagner and friend Bill Peters recently joined Pilots N Paws as a team for the same reason that most others join…to help homeless animals get one step closer to their forever home. 

It took a few weeks, but we were able to fly our first rescue on Friday 2-26-16. It was a flight of a truly sweet Pit Bull Terrier from a shelter in North Carolina to a Pit Bull rescue in Pottstown, PA. 

After some hair raising crosswinds in NC, she made the flight like a Champ! She wound up being a house guest that night with Bill and then was driven the next day to meet up with her saving organization…The Polished Pit Bull.

Bob and I made a friend that day and will always remember our first!  We look forward to flying more!
