What an incredibly wonderful story.and many kudos to the wonderful people who pulled it all together.A follow up would be nice to read if one exists. How is the pup now and does it have a new home? If not please e mail me..Many thanks to all who helped this little brave doggie.

  2. I will lovingly take a Yorkie, shiTzu or Maltese mix that doesn’t shed.’poodle as long as it’s under 13 lbs and healthy. I live in Chicago in a senior Bldg.! I must follow the rules. I am allowed a companion- working dog due to my fibromyalgia and other medical conditions, I am desparately lonely and would provide a safe and loving home. I live in Lincoln park, near all the shops and have a carriage just for my Angel, the neighborhood awaits as I do, my Prince or Princess.

Sheryl, we do not adopt out animals, we just help transport them. Your best option would be to search for shelters and rescues in your area and ask them if they have a dog meeting your requirements. I’m sure they’d be happy to help. Another option is to utilize petfinder.com, which can help you search out specific breeds in your area. Good luck, and thank you for considering adoption.
