Today I had the distinct pleasure of flying ‘Gabby’, a rescued Doberman, down to SOCAL from San Jose.

Talk about starting with nothing, when she was pulled from the pound she didn’t even have her own collar, just a paper strip around her neck identifying her as ‘940398’.

She was a total sweetheart during the flight, and she is going to make a wonderful pet for some lucky family!

We dropped her off to an amazing woman named Ardis. Ardis runs a Doberman rescue that she founded 28 years ago, in those years she has placed over 11,000 rescued dobermans!!!!

The best thing about being a part of ‘Pilots N Paws’ (other than the wonderful critters we get fly of course….) is the EXTRAORDINARY people we get to meet, true saints!
