We salute Pilots N Paws pilot Wayne Owens for flying a special senior dog, Hefner to a great rescue in Okatie, SC. This little senior Pekingese, “Hefner” with a few age and neglect issues, was found in the night, in the middle of road by a good Samaritan in Bainbridge, Ga. No one claimed him, but fortunately Noah’s Ark Rescue in Okatie, SC offered to take him.

Bath time--primping for flight!

Special thanks to Jennifer with Noah’s Ark Rescue. Special thanks to Beth (BHS Shelter manager) for getting Hef to the airport on time! Pilot Wayne Owens has also helped Bainbridge out with flight transports in the past.

“We love the pilots that help us and all the volunteers in between that love all animals! Adopt a shelter or rescue animal! And check out the pilots and rescues that help us and the animals!” said Cathy Ellsworth.
