Transfer for final flight

Transfer for final flight

While my son, Lucas, was home from Embry Riddle for Fall Break, we flew a rescue mission on Saturday, October 18. We picked up Hope, a 6-year old female Dandie Dinmont Terrier, in Lebanon, Missouri. She had been rescued from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding. After securing her cage in the back seat, she was loaded in. Each time we checked on her, there was a thumping sound from the box – it was her tail wagging and hitting the sides of the box – you could tell she was happy.

We transported her to Mayfield Graves Airport, Kentucky, where we met Joe Moss – the pilot that came from Nashville to take Hope to Nashville where she’ll stay for a couple months before moving to her forever home. A couple of quick notes, the couple that dropped Hope off at Lebanon, Missouri, prepared two snack bags with water for us and pilot Joe Moss, that was great and while at Mayfield Graves County Airport, the FBO invited us in for hotdogs and chili. What a great day for Hope, Lucas and myself.

Whenever I read the stories that come through my Facebook page from PNP I weep tears of joy! The men and women who make this all happen is so incredibly touching. My morning prayers include every PNP pilot who makes a journey that day to have the Armies of St. Michael flying with them! All of you who make this happen have my respect & admiration for saving the lives of all these wonderful creatures God gave us. Thank you just does not seem like enough to cover how I feel inside my heart.

We both would like to Thank the rescue league for finding helpless Dandies 365 days and nights. God Bless the whole team that works so hard to keep the rescue going.
