Kai’s dad and mom are both deployed, and he had been staying in Omaha with a foster family for Dogs on Deployment. Due to a change in their family situation, they could no longer keep Kai, so he needed to travel to Albuquerque to stay with a veteran who fosters for Dogs on Deployment. His dad and his current foster family are very anxious about getting Kai re-situated. He had a ride from Kansas City to Amarillo lined up, be he needed to get to Kansas City.

It took several ground transports and a couple of Pilots and Paws flight, but Kai was en-route just two days! The trip had to be kept short due to Kai’s medical condition of having seizures. Plus being a pitbull, he is banned from housing.

You have no idea how incredible you are and how much your service has meant to us. I have no idea how you do it, but I’m glad to know people like you are around and care for us overseas.
