We hope you enjoy these photos of Lucas a golden retriever that was brought to Memphis by PNP Pilot Sonny Davenport for memphis area golden retriever rescue MAGRR.

Lucas was treated for some minor ailments and has gone to his forever home in Connecticut.   Lucas has a sad story like most of these wonderful goldens!  He lived in a pen outdoors for most of his 8 years with a yellow lab!  I had the pleasure of fostering this beautiful boy that was filled with love and a true heart of Gold  for a few weeks.  I never had a problem with him and for living outside most of his life, he adapted perfectly to being an inside dog!

Lucas hit the jackpot with his new owners who are the kindest and most wonderful people on this earth !  Thank you to your organization for all that you do save these wonderful neglected animals!

Another important fact about Lucas is his love of his softball which Sonny Davenport made sure traveled with him and I made sure it was sent to Connecticut
