Maine Rescue Flights
Andrew and Anne left early on a Saturday morning and flew to Jacksonville, NC to pick up Maisy and her six pups, Bruce, Peach, Dory, Marlin, Squirt and Nemo from Leslie Armstrong and Autumn Gisher from Rescue Connect in Wilmington, NC.

All loaded up with a large tote bag filled with water, puppy pads, paper towels, wet wipes, toys, food and treats……almost as much stuff as in a baby diaper bag.

Erik Unhjem (based at Orange County Airport KMGJ) met Andrew and Anne at Easton, Maryland and will be transporting the brood to Bruce Cohen and Ryan Ribeth (based at Dutchess County Airport KPOU in Poughkeepsie, NY).

Ryan Ribeth and Bruce Cohen flew Maisy and her pups to their final destination to Brunswick, Maine airport where they were are meeting Chris.
The family has landed from their long freedom flight and are finally in Brunswick, Maine.
“Bruce” the pup and “Bruce” the pilot became great friends during the flight!
Ryan with Chris Abbe from Tall Tails Beagle Rescue and hopefully it won’t be too long before they all have their forever homes. It’s been a very long day for Maisy and her pups but they are all sooooo happy they flew on their Pilots N Paws freedom flight!
