Monkey found herself in the Nueces shelter near Corpus Christi, TX.  She is so incredibly adorable but had no interest! She was labeled as a pit mix, but is actually a chocolate European lab.  The rescue organization FOSA tagged her at the last minute to save her life.

Doug and friend flew from San Antonio down to Corpus Christi, Robstown to be exact, and picked up Monkey.  The trio escaped Robstown just as severe weather was moving in and made their way to Georgetown.  He met Tanya, who continue with a second leg to McKinney, TX.

Foster Kayla drove down from Durant, OK to pick up her charge.  Monkey will be loved on and spayed before she makes her final trek to Colorado.

Thanks to all the transporters, fosters, and FOSA-Oklahoma-Colorado Rescue for getting Monkey ready for her new life.
