N630LD (Lucky Dog) Strikes Again

Today’s transport started early as I landed in Homestead at 7am to pick up “Moe” who was on his way to Tuscaloosa, AL. He had just survived Canine Influenza and was ready to play after being sick last week. Next it was off to Marianna where 36 pups were waiting. All 36 came from Alabama rescues and private fosters and were delivered to Tampa where Save a Life Rescue (Nikki), Kelly Curtis, Lab Rescue and the Humane Society of Tampa sorted them out.

It was another beautiful day to fly, but it was freezing cold on the ground in Marianna. Saving 37 today made wearing long pants and a jacket worth it – now it’s time to get back to south Florida and shorts again!

Jeff – how do you get that many dogs into a SR22 at once? Remove the seats? I want to see the picture of the inside of the plane with all the crates stacked up! keep up the great work! I think six in a day is my record so far. I’m trying to visualize the crate configuration for getting 30+ moved in a day!

    Keep up the great work!
