This poor 7-8 month husky girl, Nadia, was in a Houston shelter as urgent because she had a broken leg.  When nobody came to save her – Husky House in New Jersey offered to take her.  Their angel Carmen B. broke out Nadia Thursday after work at 3, then got her to the vet to get the poor girl some meds. Carmen didn’t get home till 10 pm.

Carmen then took Nadia to the west Houston area to a friend, Savitha at Fidos Home Pet Inn & Spa for an overnight.  The next morning Mike M. picked her up to meet the pilot flying her towards her rescue. Weather was going to be bad on the weekend, so they jumped to move her that Friday.

Husky House wanted this young girl seen right away by their ortho doctor in NY if she could get there fast enough.  A few years ago they saved another broken leg husky in the south & the vet messed up her leg even worse.  They didn’t want a repeat performance.

Friday –
Mike M. delivered the pup to the airport at 9am.
Leg 1. Sugar Land Airport in Houston, TX (KSGR) to Carlisle, AR (4M3) – Ken ‭W.
Leg 2. 4M3 to Springfield, TN (M91) – Paul ‭S.
Leg 3. M91 to Jacksboro, TN (KJAU) – Todd L.  ‭
Alice ‭M. picked up Nadia for an overnight.

Saturday-
Leg 4. KAU to Luray, VA (KLUA) – Jason & copilot
Leg 5. KLUA to Cambridge, MD (KCGE) – Dave C.
Leg 6. KCGE to New Jersey – Dave H. on his first PnP Mission

Nadia arrived in New Jersey about 3 pm Saturday, went straight to vet that afternoon, & had her surgery.
