Over 100
This past week Kim and I did our 46, and 47th Freedom Flights, bringing us to 109 animals carried.
Kathy Mone, who helped coordinate our 45th flight, reached out to ask if we could carry several dogs to Salt Lake City. That’s possible, but generally a little long in the length for us, so we spread the word on thePilotsN Paws board to split the trip. PilotSavannah Raskey was to meet us in St. George to connect, but the weather and icing conditions kept her grounded. So Hearts 4 Paws Utah found someone to take the dogs in Cedar City.
Things came together well, with a momma and 6 puppies, along with 2 other males, all pulled from the red list at a local shelter, joined us to Cedar City bringing out total carried over 100 to 104.
I also saw a flight for Jinni Miranda, from SoCal to the San Francisco area, was struggling to find someone to fill it, so I volunteered the southern half. This eventually got set up to ground transportation for the last leg, so we loaded up another momma dog, Claire, and her 4 puppies, from French Valley to Hollister.
All told we are now at 47 Freedom Flights, 109 animals. To us it’s a big milestone getting into triple digits. It’s been an honor, and privilege, to do this for the past 18 months. Kim and I look forward to many more flights forPilotsN Paws, in the years to come.

P.S. To commemorate our 100th, I put together a quick 5 minute video with some of our passengers. Please feel free to take a look, and share it if you like it.
