Pilot Keith Decker managed to squeeze in one more rescue mission before a runway closes for maintenance at his home airport in Rock Hill, SC.

Roscoe was an owner surrender to the Chester Animal Shelter in South Carolina. Luckily, he had Joyful Rescues who could help get this beautiful dog out of harms way. A wonderful foster home in Raleigh was waiting for his arrival to join a pretty hound dog for the transport north to their NY rescue.

Chester Shelter staff and Keith set the arrangements and Roscoe was ready to fly Thursday morning. Morning communications the day of flight between the shelter and Keith led to another dog being added for a flight to Greensboro as a stop along the way to Raleigh/Durham, NC (RDU) where his temporary foster mom, Wendy, was waiting.

What a great day for flying, and another two dogs are now safe with rescue.
