Shooter was part of an unexpected litter, part Australian Shepard and part Great Dane. He was given to the uncle of those who owned the momma pup and was given up on shortly after when he was about 4 months old.

Shooter spent 2 months in the Virginia Beach SPCA before Cindy Burdick Carter found him. Cindy is a VA Representative for Australian Shepherds Forever, she searches for Aussies all around and fosters them until they have a home or a placement organization for them.

Cindy got very lucky and found a Michelle in New Jersey who would foster, train, work through behavior issues, and find Shooter a permanent home!

Shooter was flown up to NYC by myself and Micheal Haise on November 10th. We had the pleasure to meet Michelle and her husband at the airport, very lucky to have people like them in the world!

We know Shooter is in loving and capable hands. I’m confident he will have a new forever home soon.
