Puppies!!
These 5 adorable Australian Sheppard and lab or collie mix puppies were rescued in Galiapolis, OH. They had a cough on Labor Day weekend, but the following week received their health certificates. My wife Stephanie, our 5 year old son Christopher and 2 year old daughter Mary loaded into our Cherokee Six and headed to Butler Co (KHAO) in Cincinnati, OH (2.7 hours). We were met my Jamie and her helpers, refueled and were on our way back to WI. We were met by Lori from Little Orphans Rescue (Montello, WI) at our hangar in Fond du Lac, WI (KFLD). It was a beautiful day for flying and everyone enjoyed their flights!!!
On a side note: We found out this rescue had received a litter a year ago that all had the parvo virus. This was their replacement litter (we didn’t know that until we handed them over) so they were greatful to receive these pups. Here are some pictures a couple of days after the flight. A bath and some rest makes happy puppies!
Thank you!
