SALUTE to pilot, Gary Keilty who drove instead of flying today all the way up to Bainbridge, Ga and back to Tampa, Fl! Not only did he pick up 2 dogs from Bainbridge shelter, he also took a few dogs from Birmingham, Alabama (Tracy Raburn with Winfield K9friends who coordinated getting the Alabama dogs all the way over – Kate, William, their 4 babies not even 2 weeks old and 2 Redbone Coonhound babies) headed to better lives as well as ours! HUGS to Deborah Cofer, Donna Hall, and Jane Cheriogotis for getting the dogs to Bainbridge to meet with Gary. HUGS to Lisa Knight with Humane Society of Tampa Bay for taking Kelsey and Holly. And to Nancy Tortorello for picking them up in Tampa. CLAP OF HANDS to Chuck Wesley and Andy Woods who got them to the airport to catch their Silver Surfer ride south! We appreciate the pilots that fly and drive for us, and all the rescuers/volunteers that save these animals and give them the chance to live ~ Thanks to an awesome team of volunteers all working together!
