Prologue: Thank you Shirley Smith For Sharing Your 2012 PNP Rescue Story With Us. Thank you for giving Champ a second chance at life full of love and happiness.

“I adopted scruffy/867 on July 6, 2012. His name is champ now thanks to the wonderful help of Don Glisson rescue Kay Fellows and shelter with Cyndy.
It was the North Shore animal rescue in Florida. Wanted everyone to know how much I appreciate your program. So this dog on record was the farthest away dog adopted from Florida to North Carolina unless the record has changed. I love my little Champ. Life changed to the greater for both of us. I found him on Facebook because someone shared his picture.

Wanted to add that Don was the pilot. We still keep in touch on holidays and the anniversary. I sent all of them pictures of Champion. I love the song on your video of just one phone call away. I think your motto should always be look what love can do.

Thank you organization for giving me my little boy. I cherish him every day.”
