Monica had another husky trying to get from west Texas to Florida.  She arranged a ground/air combo.

Ground Portion on Saturday, February 17

Leg 0.5 – Foster Kristine handing off to Matt by noon in Austin, TX
Leg 1 – Austin to Dallas was driven by Matt F. due to uncooperative flying weather
Leg 2 – Lindsey B. drove Dallas to Rockwall
Leg 3 – Rockwall to Sulphur Springs was covered by Michelle B.
Leg 4 – Joy L. drove the stretch from Sulphur Springs to Texarkana
Leg 5 – Roger S. is a pilot but recently moved to Arkansas and doesn’t have his plane with him yet, so he drove Texarkana to Nashville, AR.

Roger fostered the pup overnight.

Flight Portion on Sunday, February 18

Leg 6 – Arkadelphia, AR (ADF) to Covington, TN by Jim. C.
Leg 7 – Joe M. flew Covington, TN to Bowling Green, KY
Leg 8 – Bowling Green, KY to Zanesville, OH- Paul S.

This lucky husky went to Howl at the Moon Husky Rescue.  Nice work to all involved to make this complicated transport come together!
