TABATHA ENJOYS CELEBRITY STATUS
A posting to transport a little 2.5 lb Chihuahua from Los Angeles to Dallas sat on the message board for months. No one seemed able to assist in getting this abused little gal to her new home. After seeing this post over and over again, Pilot Sue Clark contacted the Southern California rescuer, and offered to pick her up and fly her commercially to Dallas.
Tabatha in her young months, had her two front legs broken, that did not have proper attention and healed incorrectly. Consequently, she walks on her elbows, but it hasn’t dampened her spirit any.
Tabatha stayed with Sue for 3 weeks and during that time became a “poster” dog for Pilots N Paws. Sue and Tabatha attended a 99 Meeting to talk about PNP, and attended a pet event at Trilogy in Rio Vista where she quickly won over the hearts of all who came in contact with her. Not wanting to be left home alone, Sue took her to the airport where she teaches flying.
Tabatha loved to go flying and especially, all the attention she received.
Eventually Sue’s schedule permitted her to fly with Tabatha to Dallas, where she was handed off to her awaiting family. It is reported that she is continuing to lead a very happy, fun filled life that she so deserves.
Thanks to everyone who made this rescue/transport possible.
