The little guy is simply amazing.   It’s almost as if he’s the “comforting companion” for the rescue pups.   They immediately bond to him.  We can see the scared look on their faces calm down when Theodore is with them.   It’s really neat how he’s gotten into the routine of flying, picking up the pups, going to the various restaurants, etc.   The waitresses are all familiar with us and especially Theodore.   After the other pups leave on their next flight, we have lunch and Theodore gets to sit at a table and enjoy his ice water with his doggie treats.  His favorite restaurant is Sugar Buns in Easton, Maryland. (they really pamper him).  Kelly, Theodore’s Mom, owns Delta Belle’s Boutique in Raleigh and works long hours at the mall.   Theodore stays with us and knows exactly what Andrew is saying when he asks him if he’s ready to go flying.   He runs to his drawer and wants us to open it……his t-shirt, goggles, blanket, etc. are in the drawer……and he knows it’s supposed to go with him…. 🙂

He’s absolutely the best little traveling buddy……he loves all of the rescues we fly…….sits on the backseat with them, shares his toys, etc…..  He cries when they leave for their next flight…….He doesn’t understand why his play buddies are leaving……
