Job well done to PNP pilot David Newton and his wife Diane for saving Marty by flying him to a rescue that found him a loving home! Marty was flying from a shelter in Louisiana to Recycled Pomeranians rescue in Houston, Texas.

Check out this awesome youtube video for the story about this rescue: https://youtu.be/nhTvUYKAlB0

Update on Marty, now named Chitto: He’s doing great!  He’s been adopted by a wonderful couple in Florida who are interior decorators. I drove from Houston to Florida to meet his new family halfway. He’ll get to spend most of his days right along with them at work. Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. His heart is completely normal now, everything was a total success!

His new name is Chitto (it means brave in Native American.) His dad has Native American ancestry. Attached is his adoption photo. I’ll be updating the video to show his happy ending and his trip to Florida!
