Three seniors, Best Friends Sanctuary and 4 Caring Pilots!

Three senior shelter dogs, all with eyesight loss, are now safe and sound at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary thanks to people who worked together to make this happen!

Four caring pilots flying four separate legs which included an overnight stay, made this transport happen.  Many thanks to pilots Sam Cox, Mike Gannon, Jason Hurd, co-pilot Rachel Hurd and Jim Grady.  Jim welcomed Maude, Wesley and Perkins with warm overnight accomodations before taking off the next morning and making the final leg of their flight!

Special thanks to Livingston County Humane Society and to Best Friends for making sure these three seniors were not forgotten!  Happy New Year Maude, Perkins and Wesley!

Well I happen to know two of the dogs the black and white one Mary Jane and the Black and brown male one Indo. they went to live with my mother after divorce, she couldnt keep them after awhile. the people that bought her house wanted them professed to love them so. It was VERY VERY upsetting to see the paper and found out what had happened to them! I am so proufoundly grateful for what everybody did to save them. The people had lied and said they had died. I will never again trust someone like that. PLease except my pleasure and gratefulness that they are in a safe place. Thank you so much. I’m not a very rich person but if I can help some way even a little bit please let me know. And give them big hugs for me. They will always have a place in my heart. THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE FOR THESE ANIMALS.
