Tug’s Flight Home

I helped transport Tug to his new home near Caribou, ME after responding to a request from Sochi Dogs, an organization that arranges adoption for stray animals from Sochi, Russia, on the Pilots N Paws forum. I flew from Bridgeport, CT to meet Tug at Morristown Municipal Airport, NJ where we loaded him into the plane.
He excitedly stared out the window as we taxied, but after we took off grew a little bit nervous and shied away. My passenger helped calm him down, and by the time we had reached cruising altitude, Tug was once again enthusiastic to be on his adventure home. He poked around the cabin, peered out the windows, took a nap or two, and was overall a very well behaved, cheerful spirit to have on board. After about an hour, we landed in Westover, MA where Tug met James who would take him up to Nashua, NH and then onward to Caribou where his long journey would finally be over.

Thank you so much for helping to get TUG home to us. Pilots n Paws is such a great organization with wonderful pilots. TUG has been home now for almost 2 months and is the happiest puppy ever. He loves everyone and everyone loves him. 🙂
