A veteran was visiting in Hot Springs, AR and had to return to Michigan without his beloved Belle. The local shelter ended up with the dog and asked for assistance in returning the dog to her owner as Belle serves as a support animal to him.

Pilot Jim and his wife flew to Blytheville, AR (once the fog lifted) where rescue coordinator Donna met them with sweet Belle.

Jim Carney flew the entire trip. Jim said, “I’m a USAF veteran, so to me, this was a veteran helping another veteran which made this rescue flight even better.”

Donna chimed in, “Jim thank you so much for these amazing pictures and for making sure Belle and her Dad were reunited. I spoke with him yesterday and he sounds like a different man with his sweet Belle back home.”
