Woodsmoke’s journey
This American Eskimo mix (named Woodsmoke by his adopter), was left in a drop box of a rural Kentucky shelter. He was so afraid that he crawled on his belly when he arrived and Eskie Rescuers United knew this boy HAD to get out of this facility. A wonderful person saw his Facebook story and claimed him.
Karon Stewart, flight coordinator for several Eskie rescues, was notified that a flight was needed to get him from Kentucky to Valparaiso, IN. With the help of Leah Hager Spears, she got him out and cleaned him up and vetted.
JD Smoot offered the first leg and Jason King jumped in to fly him from Dayton, OH to his final destination. Woodsmoke was a perfect passenger. Kim Farneth, his new owner, was crying in anticipation and thrilled when they landed at the airport. Woodsmoke has a wonderful yard and several other dogs to play with.
His crawling days are over!
