Here’s a brief description as well as pictures of the mission I flew last week, in which I picked up 6 dogs from Hanover County airport in VA and flew them to Ledgedale AirPark near Rochester, NY.  The dogs were rescued by Duffy’s Friends in Rochester, NY.
-PNP Pilot Mahesh

Our thanks once again to Pilots N Paws and our pilot, Mahesh Sankaran, for our latest freedom flight.  Over the weekend, Mahesh flew to Rochester with six dogs.  Thanks to them these dogs are all going to get a second chance at finding the loving homes they deserve.

Every dog Mahesh delivered to us was on the verge of losing its life.  These dogs range from a cocker who was surrendered because its truck driver owner said the dog didn’t like living in the truck to another dog that has a bad leg because it wasn’t treated after getting struck by a car.  The rest were surrendered by their owners for a variety of reasons.   They are now in foster homes where we are getting to know them better. We’ll be telling you more about them in the days to come and let you where you’ll get a chance to meet them.

Again, thank you Mahesh and Pilots N Paws for everything you do for us, the dogs and other rescue groups!
